On Friday, June 17th the Montgomery Bus Lines team celebrated our team’s Years of Service with a catered chicken BBQ. We had an amazing turnout with over 95 people in attendance. Our heat wave broke Friday morning and the winds off of Lake Huron rolled in, which made for a cool and interesting evening trying to keep the tent in place.
This didn’t stop the Montgomery Team from having a great time. In all we celebrated 21 of our team members and there were a couple of special presentations from drivers as well. Dianne Duskocy received her 35-year award and we celebrated two past big awards which we hadn’t been able to do properly during COVID. Lou Ann Brooks was celebrated for having achieved her 30-year award and Jim McKee joined us from retirement to be properly recognized for his 50 years of service. A wonderful evening was had by all.
